How to be 100% happy with your upper cervical chiropractic care

1. Go for the relief but stay for the healing.

Ending pain. Eliminating pain. Escaping pain. However you want to phrase it, this is an instinctual drive.

Your body doesn’t like pain. You don’t like pain. And you both want to get rid of it. But if you’re only anchored to the idea getting rid of pain, then there’s a good chance your body is going to teach you a valuable lesson about who is really in charge.

Pain relief without healing always comes at a price. It usually means a bigger problem later.

Pain is the language that your body uses to get your attention.

Except in situations of true medical emergencies, pain that reduces due to actual healing –-not just pain suppression through drugs–is always preferred to just covering up pain.

It’s natural to not to want to be in pain. But it’s unnatural to get rid of pain without actually healing.

If you want to be 100% happy with your upper cervical chiropractic care, seek relief, but the relief that comes with a true improvement in function. True healing.

Chiropractic miracles do happen. And could be possible in your situation. But since a real self-healing process is involved, that miracle may take many months to arrive.

Give your chiropractor the same patience you’ve displayed for everyone else, and you’re more likely to be rewarded for your time.

3. Get worked on, and then work-with your upper cervical chiropractor.

You can be a passive participant in your chiropractic care. Or you can be active. You can show up, get checked and/or adjusted, rinse and repeat.

Or you can show up get checked and/or adjusted, and start asking yourself, why did I need to lose my alignment? What is my body telling me?

Getting worked on by your chiropractor is good. But working with your chiropractor is even better. Working with could simply be getting more sleep, drinking more water, eating less sugar, leaving the high-heels in the closet, using the proper form when you’re doing your favorite hobby, and walking for 20 minutes per day.

It’s all that little stuff that you think you already do that you don’t that could make all the difference in your happiness.
